This style of Sauvignon Blanc distinguishes itself as an oak barrel fermented, dryer more textural style than the sweeter overtly passionfruit and tropical nature of wine seen over the last 3 decades or so from New Zealand. 

The Medhurst Estate 2018 Sauvignon Blanc has fresh aromas of grapefruit, juniper, acacia and spice with complex hints of toast and flint from barrel fermentation. Complex and textural in style with a superb weight and balance.
