MEDHURST RED SHED CHARDONNAY 2011

The Medhurst Red shed range of wines is a fresh approach to cool climate winemaking
Subtle grapefruit, lemon rind and citrus blossom with some flint and struck match. At the time of bottling, there was some fermentation aromas of banana and pineapple; however these will dissipate with time in bottle. Fresh and crunchy granny smith apples and sweet grapefruit flavours lead into a soft and creamy mouthfeel. Subtle and refined, the flavours are delicate and persistent, finishing with a crisp limey finish. If you can get some freshly caught garfish, sashimi the fillets and enjoy with a glass or two.
